    Description

This is a great vintage one pint empty whiskey bottle with a cork-seal top.
Brown machine-made glass with a cork inside the mouth.
    Measures approximately 8 1/8" tall, 3 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" deep.
Weighs 13.1 oz. before packing for shipping.
Embossed near the top are the words "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE".  This marking requirement was eliminated in 1964, but bottles were reportedly made with the marking until 1970.
Embossed near the bottom "ONE PINT" on both front and back.
    Embossed
    on the bottom
    "D-189" above "65-47" inside a dotted oval.
Bottle manufacturer Owens-Illinois' diamond-I-O logo is embossed on the right edge of the dotted oval.
The "65" probably means this bottle was manufactured in 1965.
The bottle needs cleaning inside but is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. It has some debris or scratches on one side.  The photos are part of my description.  Please zoom in on all of them and judge for yourself.
