This is a baseball counter and can be used by the umpire, the coaches,the players or the family of the hitter. I have already seen recently, someone not realizing that there was only 1 out and almost got picked off in a stupid first base play.  So...I  think everyone needs on of these, especially if you've had a few drinks and things get a bit more difficult to remember.
I had one of these back in the day and used it when I golfed.  It's generally smaller that a golf counter, and  less cumbersome than the bead counter . If you and your group are pretty at golf, ( you can golf in the 80's), you can count for a couple of questionable friends. Otherwise, just use it for your own scores.

Condition is so often in the eyes of the beholder, I can believe that something is in terrible condition and you can think it's average. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description and let you make a more informed decision of the condition by your standards and not mine. This is a vintage piece and therefore very old.
