Ultra-Pure Tuning Slide Lube is a nontoxic, synthetic lubricant designed for use on 1st or 3rd valve slides for trumpet, cornet or any brass instrument where the slide needs to move easy. The Ultra-Pure Slide Lube is compatible with Ultra-Pure Valve Oils and can even be used to lubricate corks on woodwind instruments.
Ultra-Pure Regular Tuning Slide Lube is used for all the tuning slides of brass instruments to keep them in place but lubricated enough to allow tuning adjustments.  Light Tuning Slide Lube is for the 1st and 3rd valve slides of better trumpets that must move quickly and easily for adjusting the pitch of notes that are naturally a bit sharp. There is also a heavy lube that I don’t stock. If you need that one just let me know and I will get it to you for the same price.
This lube is clear, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic. It is very long-lasting. You can clean it off your fingers with a tissue or by washing with soapy water.
