DISCOTEQUE RADIO PORTABLE DISCO PLAYSET STROBE BARBIE 1976 EXTREMELY RARE W/BOXDISCOTEQUE RADIO PORTABLE DISCO PLAYSET STROBE BARBIE 1976 EXTREMELY RARE W/BOX
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING! Here we have a DISCOTEQUE RADIO PORTABLE DISCO PLAYSET STROBE BARBIE 1976 EXTREMELY RARE W/ BOX~~~PRODUCED FOR SEARS ROEBUCK however they say it was originally produced by a company called Concept 2000 for the SEARS ROEBUCK CATALOG~~~DISCOTEQUE AM Radio playset with strobe lights. It's a portable AM Radio and a scaled discoteque set! So much fun to display some funky 1970's Barbie and kens dolls in~Bring out your dolls to dance and enjoy their own musical discoteque. It is missing the two knock down brown chairs but does come with the extremely and my opinion the most important piece brown table with snack set - cups, soda bottle and fruit platter. I included a Sunshine Family orange chair and a Barbie blue chair~You could get another orange chair and paint them brown would be amazing and very close to the original chairs~~~Features multicolored flashing strobe lights and AM Radio with volume and dial ~ (I TESTED AND THE STROBE LIGHTS ARE BEAUTIFUL~ I ENJOYED WATCHING THEM IN THE DARK)~(I DO NOT HAVE A 9 VOLT BATTERY AT THE MOMENT TO TEST THE RADIO HOWEVER THE ORIGINAL OWNER SAYS IT WORKS NICELY AS THE STROBES LIGHTS DO AS WELL) ~This playset comes with the original INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED~~~The blue top plastic small latch is broken and will need to be glued back together~A few tiny piece of blue plastic was found in the bottom of the box so a few blue hinges are broken but still displays nicely and can be put together ~Fully portable, everything fits inside with a carrying handle. It has a yellow, fold out plastic hinged dance floor~Requires 4 "D" size batteries and one 9 volt battery for the radio.~ Batteries Not Included~ There is no corrosion inside the battery compartment. Honestly, doesn't seem like it was ever used.Originally featured in a SEARS AD in 1976. If you look at the corner of the box in the ad it says Sears. The box has some age and storage wear but is still in tact, and also super cool. Check out Disco Dick in the DJ Booth. This piece is RARE. There is a radio website that features some/most of the Concept 2000 pieces that were made. This one is not listed or pictured because it is so hard to find. Fits any 11.5 inch fashion dolls. Barbie, Poppy Parker, Dollikins, Clones, Fashion Royalty.I always combine s/h on multiple orders~~~(I'VE ONLY SEEN ONE ON EBAY 4 YEARS AGO AND THAT DISCO PLAYSET SOLD FOR 00 AND IT WAS MISSING MAJOR PIECES SO THIS IS WHERE MY PRICE IS OR I MAY END UP KEEPING IT IN OUR COLLECTION)~(PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS AND NO RETURNS AND NO PARTIAL REFUNDS)~~~(BARBIE DOLL IS NOT INCLUDED IS NOT FOR SELL ONLY MODELING TO SHOW HOW THE PLAYSET DISPLAYS)~~~
