    Description

    This is a fine piece of glass. It is much prettier than shown in the bright sunlight. It originated in the British Isles as indicated by the spelling of Whiskey without the "E". At least it was a British engraver. The piece is perfect and has no water stain. It was blown into a 12 ribbed mold, formed into a corset shape, a pour lip finished the body, and a clear glass handle was attached. The stopper was blown into a ribbed mold as well. I believe it was blown in the first quarter of the 20th century. Likely the 1920s. It is flashed with a pretty lime green. There is a 2" polished area on the base to remove the pontil.
